On the recommendation of Research Committee to consider a proposal to require all full-time research students to submit their theses within 4 years of their initial registration date. (For students commencing in October 1997 and thereafter) and to note a recommendation concerning Health and Safety legislation.

On the recommendation of Ordinances and Regulations Committee:

To approve amendments to the General Regulations for Undergraduate Awards; the General Regulations for Higher Awards by Course; the General Regulations for Modular Postgraduate Awards in respect of;

the clarification of the Attendance Requirement
